Why Greenliners?

Our Paper

The paper used to make GreenLiner has been sourced and tested specifically for use in compostable organic waste streams.

Many local councils collect organic food and/or garden waste from households for composting. To ensure the liners are safe to enter this type of waste, the councils require the material to be tested to a specific European standard.

Our bags carry the European Certificate of Compostability EN13432:2000 issued by Din Certo - the leading European certification organisation. This award is given after rigorous testing on the material to ensure the material composts properly, is safe to use in the composting process and will not harm the environment!

Paper Bags

Tough & Durable

Our bags are also tough and durable. In fact, our larger bags feature two layers of paper are used instead of one. This double layer gives added stability, added strength and makes the sacks resistant to punctures, whilst still being easy to handle and light-weight!

Outdoors

Use our compostable liners in your garden to collect compostable garden waste for your home compost heap! These liners are sturdy and strong - great for transporting compostable waste!

Take your compostable waste to your home compost heap or a community composting facility (usually attached to your local recycling centre) and discard the liner with its contents!

For home composting empty the contents on to the heap and rip up the liner before also adding it to the heap - adding the paper liner will provide valuable 'browns' to the mix, help stablise moisture content and improve air flow!
